After the rains yesterday, it was assumed Beaver Brook would have been impacted by debris again, but on inspection today it’s still flowing.
Beaver Brook was last cleared of debris at the trail bridge one mile upstream from the lake two days ago. It’s clear and easy to navigate for paddlers from the Beaver Brook Rd bridge all the way up to that next bridge. Explorers will usually spot the resident Great Blur Herons, hundreds of turtles sunning, a cornucopia of dragonflies, and often a beaver or two.
